Today I am supposed to write about something that probably would not normally go onto this blog. Fun, right? So, I guess I will write about how much I don't want to write this kind of post.
It seems incredible dull, and I'm not sure that I can make myself write a 'misfit' post. What exactly does that mean anyways? Whatever. I am just trying to create this post and so I am going to be done with this mini rant. Tomorrow will be better.

Prompt #2: Ban a word
Today I am supposed to choose which word that I would want to permanently ban from my vocabulary and why. This prompt seems way too easy for me, because without thinking about it, I know what my word would be.
Can't.
I too often overuse that word and say things like, "Um, I can't do that." Seriously. No sooner do I say those words than I realize that I have to do it or will eventually do it.
What about you? What word would you want to eliminate from your vocabulary?
Can't.

First prompt: June 21, 2015
For the next year, I will be working my way through the writing prompts found here.
Today is June 21st, and as much as I would rather start with a better prompt, I am going to have to work with the one that they provided. So, here it goes.
Writing prompt #1: Ha ha ha (Tell a joke)
There once was a man who died and began his journey to heaven. When he reached the pearly gates, Saint Peter was there. After exchanging greetings, the man asked, "What do I do to get into heaven?"
Saint Peter smiled and said, "All you have to do is spell a word."
Thinking it was easy enough, the man said, "Okay, well, what is the word?"
Saint Peter said "Love."
The man then replied, "L-O-V-E."
"You're in."
The man entered heaven and looked around at all the glory. After a few minutes, Saint Peter approached the man and asked him to watch the gate for a minute because he had to go check something down the road. The man agreed, and Saint Peter left.
After a minute or so, who should come up but the man's wife.... "How'd you get here?" He asked her.
"Well, you're not going to believe this, but after your funeral I was heading home and got hit by a drunk driver driving a semi."
"Oh." the man said.
"Well, what do I do to get into heaven?" The wife asked.
"You just have to spell a word." He replied.
"What is the word?" She asked.
The man thought for a moment before saying, "Czechoslovakia."
